Chelsea manager Eriksson Interested


London - After firing Andre Villas-Boas, Chelsea are now in the hunt manager for next season. Ex-England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson admitted Fernando Torres keen tonurture cs.

Villas-Boas was forced to leave as manager after just eight months were recruited fromPorto last summer. His assistant, Roberto Di Matteo was appointed as a caretaker in the rest of the season.


The names of Villas-Boas successor emerged. Rafael Benitez, the former Chelseamanager Jose Mourinho and Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola is believed to be thestrongest candidate.

Eriksson has not trained since dismissed by Leicester City in October. But althoughthere has been no approach from Chelsea, he claimed to be interested in the boss at Stamford Bridge.

"I'll take it. Of course," confident Eriksson told Sky Sports News.

"They've got a great manager (Di Matteo) and I think it's a natural solution because hehas been with the club throughout the season," added the Swede.
